DEADLINE EXTENDED!
More than 100,000 sheets of artwork paper have been ordered for the Picture Points promotion - now it's time to send all your students' great artwork to FundingFactory for the contest!
We did a little test and realized that it can take up to two weeks for the merchandise return envelopes to be delivered to FundingFactory. In order to compensate for this, we have extended the deadline.
Pictures must be received at FundingFactory by May 1 to be entered into this year's contest. Winners will be announced on May 15!
Send your students' artwork by April 14 to make sure that it is received by the deadline!
All artwork will be posted to www.fundingfactory.com/art where parents and other supporters can view and order products customized with the student artwork. Products include coffee mugs, t-shirts, mousepads, key chains, posters and more!

This is a picture of my daughter, Ashley, from this summer. She's the youngest of my four kids and the only girl! ( I actually followed Ron's instructions from the Developers Blog to learn how to post this picture.) I finally got around to uploading a bunch of pictures from our digital camera the other day and this one stuck in my mind.
It actually reminded me of another day this summer. I was lying in the grass in our back yard looking at the few clouds that dotted an otherwise crystal blue sky. Ashley was on the swing not far away with her blond hair blowing in the breeze as the sun reflected off of it. I was struck by the sheer perfection of the situation. The beauty of the world around me, the gift of being a father, the joy and promise of being child... that moment may very well have been one of the best of my life...
This blog gives me the opportunity to share thoughts like these with all of you. It can be a place to talk about ideas, to share opinions, to discuss things that matter (or even things that don't.) Now it's your turn...

Ok, it was my idea to add free blogs to the FundingFactory site. I must confess however, that up until right now I've never posted to a blog. So I'm learning, the same as many of you hopefully will, that blogs can be a fun and interesting way of sharing our thoughts and ideas with potentially a worldwide audience.
From a business perspective, it is our hope that the addition of blogs will bring even greater exposure to our core, fundraising-through-recycling program. Perhaps more than anything though, adding blogs is consistent with our spirit of innovation and our objective to continually add value for our participants.
Through our official blog, we hope to give you a glimpse behind the scenes at FundingFactory. We know many of our participants have only interacted with FundingFactory through our website. Maybe in a small way, this blog can help add a human element to the program.
